Our Approach to Raw and Unprocessed Honey
No Chemicals Inside or Outside the Hive
We never use toxic chemicals to combat varroa mites, wax moths, or hive beetles. Instead, we follow natural approaches such as observing the queen’s brood cycles and supporting hive immunity through abundant pollen and nectar. We also collaborate with local authorities to minimize environmental pollutants, including pesticide spraying, within a significant radius of our apiaries—an achievement that ensures our honey remains real raw honey from a safe, chemical-free environment.

No Sugar or Corn Syrup
to Prop Feed Bees
A hive’s best defense against disease, collapse, and sudden temperature drops in Texas winters is its own nutrient-rich honey. We harvest only the surplus, never supplementing with sugar or corn syrup — especially in winter, when honey acts as the bees’ natural thermal conductor. This care keeps our production small, the honey pure & raw, and every release limited.
Increasing Pollen & Nectar Resources
We plant native, drought-tolerant species to ensure year-round access to diverse nutrition for our bees. This strengthens hive vitality and produces honey naturally rich in antioxidants and other beneficial compounds, reinforcing our commitment to raw and unprocessed honey.
Local Texas Bees
Our bees are native to Texas and acclimated to extreme heat and humidity. Colonies grow organically through natural swarming—never via artificial insemination or genetic modification—ensuring the integrity and authenticity of every batch of real raw honey.
Allow Bees to Draw Comb Freely
We let bees build their wax comb naturally, choosing cell size themselves. This respects their intelligence and natural behavior, resulting in honey that reflects their environment and seasonal activity.
Harvesting In Tune with Nature’s Seasons & Cycles
Following the “Cosmic Clock,” our beekeeping aligns with solstices and equinoxes. Bees show distinct behaviors in each seasonal phase, and our harvesting decisions respect their natural rhythms—helping preserve the quality of our raw and unprocessed honey.
Raw & Unheated
We preserve maximum nutrient density by keeping honey at ambient room temperature. A 600-micron mesh separates wax and natural debris while keeping pollen intact, ensuring every jar is pure raw honey brimming with antioxidants and bioactive compounds.
